Photo of the day!! This is Sara Mearns, principal with NYCB, in the Emeralds section from Balanchine's "Jewels". She is such a beautiful dancer and on of my favorites! Here is a video of her in a new ballet by Avi Scher!! (With Marcelo Gomes, principal with ABT, also one of my favs!!!!)And one of her rehearsing George Balanchine's "Symphony in C"
And the last one of her as Odile in Swan Lake( Terrible quality, but you can still see how fantastic she really is!!)
